Stefen Janke started his culinary career at the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco. Stefen worked his way up, starting as a stage at the Savoy Brassiere he soon set his sights on world class Aqua in San Francisco. After three years, Stefen went to work with the bold and talented Chef Alain Rondelli and at the tender age of 24 became a Sous Chef at Los Angeles’ four star restaurant, Patina.  Finally ready to take on his own kitchen Stefen took over the helm at Inn at the Opera in San Francisco. Having worked as the chef at  restaurants like Cypress Club in San Francisco and The Salish Lodge and Spa in Washington State, Stefen has honed his craft to perfection. In 2000 Stefen was looking for some extra time to spend with his infant son and became a private Chef in Los Angeles. Now Stefen brings his culinary talents to the greater Sacramento area, offering in home cooking classes, parties and catering.
